Membership Categories
Individual Financial Professionals
Membership dues: $475 per year
This categories includes financial planners and advisors, professionals at SRI companies such as mutual fund companies, consulting firms, and asset management firms. (If you are a professional in a community investing institution, SRI bank and credit union, or an NGO please see either the Membership for Community Investing Institutions or Membership for NGOs section below.) Dues for individual professional members are $475 per year.
Institutions with SRI Assets Under Management (AUM)
Membership dues: $550 - $25,000 per year, based on the firm’s AUM
This category includes mutual fund companies, asset management firms, and institutional investors including pension funds, foundations, and endowments. (If your institution does not distinguish between SRI and non-SRI assets, please see Do not Distinguish section below.) Minimum dues are $550 (maximum $25,000) according to a tiered structure, below:

| Next $150 million | $18 per million |
| Next $750 million | $9 per million |
| Above $1 billion | $4.50 per million |
Example:
If your total AUM is $30 million, you would calculate your dues as follows:
25 x $36 = $900 (first $25 million)
5 x $22.50 = $112.50 (next $5 million)
Total dues: $1,012.50
SRI Service Providers (for profit)
Membership dues: $1,200 - $6,500, based on the firm’s revenues.
This category includes research providers, marketing firms, media firms, strategic planning firms, and other for-profit consultants to the SRI industry. Dues begin at $1,200 per year.

Membership for Institutional Investors that Do Not Distinguish Between SRI and non-SRI Assets
Membership Dues: $1,625 - $8,100, based on institutional assets
This category is for those institutional investors that do not distinguish in their portfolio between SRI and non-SRI holdings. Such investors may include pension funds, foundations, and endowments. Dues begin at $1,625 per year, based on assets.

Community Investing Institutions and SRI banks and Credit Unions
Membership dues: $550 - $6,750, based on assets
This category includes community development financial institutions, other community investing organizations, and SRI banking institutions. Dues are $550 for the first $50 million in assets, then $550 + $6 per million for assets of $50 million to $1 billion, with maximum dues of $6,750.
Membership for Non-Governmental Organizations
Membership dues: $365 - $630
This category includes non-profit, civil society organizations and non-profit research organizations that work to promote socially responsible investing and corporate social responsibility.
