Job Title: Research Assistant (Temporary) – Boston office

Job Summary: Provides general administrative & research support for social research & advocacy department

Position Relationship: Reports to Senior Social Research Analysts

Trillium Asset Management Corporation (“Trillium”), a leader in the field of socially responsible investing, has a temporary opening for a Social Research & Advocacy Assistant. Because of the short time frame (December through – mid-February), candidates with some research experience in SRI/ESG will be given a strong preference.

Responsibilities and Authority:

o Assist social research & investment teams with screening and research activities as directed
o Monitor selected advocacy areas
o Respond to information requests
o Assist with filing of shareholder resolutions
o Maintain databases
o Produce research for consulting clients
o Web site assistance
o Produce articles for web site and newsletter


Knowledge and Skills Required:

o Bachelor’s degree
o Strong preference for candidates with experience in SRI/ESG
o Good Internet research skills
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels internally
o Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
o High attention to detail
o PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Wordpress
o Reliable with a flexible team attitude

Salary: Hourly wage, commensurate with experience.
