Job Responsibilities

Boston Trust seeks a qualified professional to support the securities research function of the firm. Reporting to the Associate Director of Securities Research, the position’s general responsibilities include:

• Data compilation, organization, synthesis and presentation in support of fundamental research
• Implementation and maintenance of quantitative and analytical models within the investment process
• Participation in ad hoc research related projects
• Support of all activities of the Investment Committee
• On a limited basis, participation in sector-based fundamental securities research

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree (liberal arts) or equivalent work experience (economics or advanced mathematics study a plus); CFA candidates preferred
Experience: One to two years related experience
Competencies: Superior oral and written communication skills; comfort with math, accounting and statistics; a high level of efficiency and organization; proficiency with Microsoft Excel, experienced with FactSet, Bloomberg, or other industry systems.
