Job purpose:
To direct the Company’s financial and administrative activities and operations, including all aspects of the Company’s administrative and employment policies, objectives and initiatives; to oversee the Company’s financial reports to its board and shareholders and its compliance activities; to manage the Company’s budgeting and internal controls to attain the Company’s short- and long-term financial and strategic goals; to develop and report key performance indicators in service of the Company’s growth and profitability; and to assist in strategic decision-making.

Reports to: CEO

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Participate as a member of the senior management team
• Effect the creation and delivery of, and ensure the veracity of, financial reports to the Company’s board and shareholders
• Manage a team of two to supervise the Company’s human resource and administrative functions
• Facilitate and, at the direction of the CEO, lead strategic transitions
• Serve as the chief compliance officer of the Company
• Manage the Company’s internal control systems and processes
• Participate in capital-raising as needed
• Manage and control expenditure within agreed budgets
• Achieve short- and long-term financial goals

Skills and Experience:
• Experience in managing accounting and finance in service industry firm(s) with sophisticated, “big-ticket” clients
• Understanding of complex financial statements and legal principles
• Computer modeling aptitude and experience required
• Involvement in raising capital for a growing enterprise preferred
• College degree required; graduate degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years experience in management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional deportment and discretion
• Capacity to lead in an entrepreneurial environment
• Demonstrated commitment to quality
• Highest level of personal integrity
